About the Author

Patrick Downey Ed.S. wandered in the wilderness of public education for ten of his first 20 years in the field before settling in southern Indiana with his wife and five children, where he appreciates the opportunity to serve as a Christian high school counselor. He also spent more time as a student than planned, becoming licensed in School Teaching, School Counseling, School Administration, and School Bus Driving. Mr. Downey believes in Christian Education, having been eternally blessed by his own experiences and wanting those accessible to all Christian families.  He supports Voluntary Association through Free Markets when advocating for education policy.
